Note to Instructors: On the day following this lecture on “Prototyping” I create a paper prototype to a simple application such as a simple desktop reminder. I create some scenarios and choose a student to be my user, and then conduct an actual paper prototype session. Since the students will be doing this in their projects it is important for them to get a clear picture of how to this.
I will work on developing an example that you can use in your class.
The video tape on Card Sorting and Paper Prototyping discuss the process and has a nice example of a paper prototype session.
